8 months old

Puppers is 8 months old today. She has been with us for about six months. Wow six months already??? Love her.

Morning goodbye

Raya is so distraught when I leave in the morning and she doesn't get to go to puppy day care. She looks so sad....

Sick Puppy

The puppers is not feeling well...it may be all that digging she is doing??? God only knows what she is eating...worms, bugs, grass, ick. At any rate she is not eating her dog food and drinking minimal water. Poor pup. We gave her rice yesterday and she ate that. Today will be chicken and rice. She looks so sad. I hope she is not in pain. :(

Dig and Dirt

This dog sure loves to dig. She has become quite the digger. I let her in the yard for a bit while I was doing dishes and when I called her in this is what she looked like...not too bad. I can only imagine if I let her stay outside longer what damage she could get into.

Sticks and stones...

This dog sure loves her sticks...we bought her a "stick" toy for inside the house and she has chewed it to death. We bought her a new one since the old one had gotten so small...I was scared she would swallow the thing whole. The stick on the right was the same size as the new one on the left.

Shhhhh...don't tell Matt

Somedays I like to cuddle with the pup...shocking I know. Last night I may have let her on the bed...a place she normally does not go. I loved it.

Another one bites the dust

This pup is not going to have any toys left at the rate she's going.

Jeremy and Sara bought this just a few weeks ago.

Power chewer

This dog loves tearing apart her toys...three this week alone....two of which my mom just bought her no less than two weeks ago. Rest in Peace stuffed toys...rest in peace.

That's her toy and the stuffing she ripped out. 

Time to get this dog some rawhide.

Seriously dog

In the span of one hour...this evening Raya ate all of Allie's food, peed on the rug, and tried eating my plant. Seriously dog...what gives? Now that I yelled at her she has settled in nicely on the couch. Grrrrrrr.

Rawhide

Bark park

Took Raya to a dog park in Michigan city. She was a little anti social and followed Matt and I around. She tested her boundaries a bit and would wander off aways. She liked it. I believe she enjoys being off leash and roaming free. Glad we can do that for her every once in a while.

We also got Raya some rawhide. She likes it...she really really likes it.

Sisters

The pups are getting along better these days. Don't get me wrong we still have our barking and couch racing episodes but seeing the two of them lay in the sun by the backdoor warms my heart. I love my pups!

Brought Raya over to my sisters to play with Nula and the kids. The dogs loved chasing each other out in the backyard. Our little troublemaker got into my sisters cilantro plant. Remind me never to leave her in the backyard unattended...yikes!

I went out of town for a few days and man oh man did I miss this little puppers.  I took these this morning! I just wanted to stay home and snuggle up right next to her. Such a pretty dog.

Conehead

Raya has been getting at her stitches so she has now turned into a full time cone head.  

Six months old!

Getting sooooooo big! Six months old.

Spaying

We got our lil pup spayed the other day. She looked so sad and in pain. All I want to do is give her lots of kisses and snuggle with her.

Basic Obedience

We had our last obedience class last night...intermediate training wont start until late September.  Raya did great except for one minor little hiccup error (she got up from a downstay). I am such a sore loser. We totally should of won best in show. Raya is so much better than that other dog. And that other dog was 2 years old as opposed to my shining smart star who is less than 6 months old. Even though we didn't walk away with the trophy I know she was the best in that class. Go Team Raya! I am so proud of my little pup.
