Brought Raya over to my sisters to play with Nula and the kids. The dogs loved chasing each other out in the backyard. Our little troublemaker got into my sisters cilantro plant. Remind me never to leave her in the backyard unattended...yikes!

After being scolded by my sister she put the pups away...all tuckered out.

I went out of town for a few days and man oh man did I miss this little puppers.  I took these this morning! I just wanted to stay home and snuggle up right next to her. Such a pretty dog.

Conehead

Raya has been getting at her stitches so she has now turned into a full time cone head.  

Six months old!

Spaying

We got our lil pup spayed the other day. She looked so sad and in pain. All I want to do is give her lots of kisses and snuggle with her.

Basic Obedience

We had our last obedience class last night...intermediate training wont start until late September.  Raya did great except for one minor little hiccup error (she got up from a downstay). I am such a sore loser. We totally should of won best in show. Raya is so much better than that other dog. And that other dog was 2 years old as opposed to my shining smart star who is less than 6 months old. Even though we didn't walk away with the trophy I know she was the best in that class. Go Team Raya! I am so proud of my little pup.

Baka's again

Dog beach

This morning we took Raya to montrose dog beach. We let her off the leash and off she ran...loving the sand and not so much the water. She ran around a bit with other dogs and Matt walked into the cold water and got Raya to follow. She instinctively knew how to swim! It was so much fun to watch her digging in the sand and running around.

 

Morning hike

Yesterday, Matt and I took Raya out to the trails for a long walk... We could have walked longer but it was quite warm and sunny. She was exhausted when we got back to the car.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th...this is what Raya had planned for the day.....

relaxing but we have been running around all day...driving to my sisters, running a few errands, sorting laundry, washing dishes, taking a long walk, rough housing in the yard. Yeesh.

Ice

Raya loves chewing ice! It's really cute to watch her drop it out of her mouth and try to break it and pick it up again and crunch crunch crunch it. Matt took an adorable video of this however we are unable to upload it for some strange reason. BOO :(
